The Alutaguse luxury bear hides offer an excellent opportunity to watch bears and other wildlife from luxury conditions. In addition to the brown bears, the hides are frequently visited by raccoon dogs, occasionally by moose, badgers, wild boars, roe deer, and rarely by wolves and lynxes, as well as numerous bird species. Alutaguse is considered the bear stronghold of Estonia, as nearly half of the country’s approximately 1,000 bears inhabit the forests and wetlands of this region. Our hides are located in the western part of Alutaguse, near the Sirtsi Bog, just a 1.5-hour drive from Tallinn or Tartu.

The Lux Hide is primarily designed for couples, but if needed, it can accommodate an additional 1 people with an extra bed and 1 small child can sleep with mom and dad in a big double bed.
